Description

To date, the Voie Verte de l'Armagnac connects Condom to Lagraulet du Gers (21km) and Cazeneuve to Eauze (8 km).

Intermediate access car parks allow you to organize your stages: Mouchan car park (km 6.6 with dry toilets), Lauraët car park (km 11.7) and Lagraulet car park (km 18).

With long climbs and descents in a straight line, the Voie Verte crosses the hills of Armagnac, with beautiful and very varied landscapes, but without crossing the villages: as they deserve, it is absolutely necessary to leave the Voie Verte to visit them and enjoy of their services for stops.
In addition to Condom, with its Cathedral, its port, and its Armagnac museum, you can visit Larressingle fortified village, the Romanesque bridge of Artigues on the GR 65 of St-Jacques, Mouchan, its Romanesque church and its Museum of vines and wine, Gondrin, its churches, its public park and its leisure park, its washhouse and its sanctuary, Montreal perched bastide and the nearby Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac…
Eauze is worth a stop and a visit, with its Cathedral and its medieval center, and the two Gallo-Roman archaeological sites of ELUSA (La Domus de Cieutat and the Museum).

Please note, the route of the old railway line runs through the Pomiro tunnel where colonies of bats belonging to protected species have taken up residence. In fact, using the tunnel is made impossible.
