Warm up at La Flamme de l’Armagnac
From the almost complete end of October to end of January, if some are hibernating, others are in turmoil, like the region's wine producers. And for good reason, once the harvest is finished, the time comes to the distillation of Armagnac. A key stage in its manufacturing, monitored night and day for a perfect result. Did you know about milk on fire? For us, it’s wine on the still!
It is in this effervescence that the heart of winter lights up la Flame of Armagnac and its festivities. Take part in this unmissable highlight of the Gascon calendar and immerse yourself in its many events! In the program : cellar visits and tastings, RESPONSIVEFestive meals at the foot of the still, cycle-hikes and bandas activities. It is also an opportunity to flit from village to village to follow the route of the Flame and experience this concentration of conviviality up close. On the right side, we treat ourselves to a cocktail of panache and ardor made in Occitanie. On the front side, we vibrate and tremble in front of the Landes races and the brass bands. In May,
we tie red scarves to blend into the bubbling waters Pentecostavic Festivities. On the program for this generous and intergenerational event: 250 brass band musicians, 17 bodegas, 12 free concerts, all spread over 3 days of beautiful Occitanie.

In July,
the Tempo Latino Festival, el Unico, takes over. The 1st Festival of Latin and Afro-Cuban music in Europe lights up the summer with its sunny and mixed programming. On the Arena stage and its satellites, styles and artists multiply in a good mood. So, more funky, jazzy or groovy?

In August,
all for one and one for all with the essential D'Artagnan Festival. Since 2012, the village of Lupiac has celebrated its world-famous musketeer every 2nd Sunday in August. For the occasion, more than a hundred villagers in period costume rekindle the epic flame of Dumas' hero.
