Every year, Lupiac celebrates its musketeer⚔️ The inhabitants transform the Gers village and go back in time to the time of d'Artagnan. Welcome to the 17th century: immerse yourself on a fair day, come and meet D'Artagnan and his musketeers, villagers, shopkeepers, craftsmen and wanderers. Marvel at the many shows, entertainment and feast to your heart's content🍴

A dive into the Renaissance⚜️

The festival D'Artagnan at d'Artagnan takes place every year, since 2012, the second weekend ofAugust. It takes the form of a living and animated evocation of a village fair du 17st century.

The day of international festival, several hundred people in mores vintage – villagers, traders, artisans, gypsies, washerwomen, peasants, musicians, actors, noble ladies and gentlemen in ceremonial outfits, rascals and musketeers, on foot or on horseback – invest the village and mingle with visitors.

Meet d’Artagnan⚔️

Charles de Batz de Castelmore alias d'Artagnan is born at Lupiac between 1611 and 1615. Thomas Samek, passionate about the character legendary, comes especially to embody it with plume at the d'Artagnan festival, since its first edition in 2012. Throughout the weekend you can meet him on horseback, on foot or even in a duel 😉🤺
