In Ayzieu, in the heart of Bas-Armagnac and its valleys with perched villages, is the Domaine de Saoubis, unique of its kind in the Gers.
Since 1997, the owners have converted their vineyard to biodynamics with optional additions of elements from plants or animals and cow manure compost for the flourishing of the vines. The work in the vineyard and in the cellar is also studied and respects the influence of the stars, in particular that of the moon. Certified by Ecocert, all production comes from organic farming.
The Domaine produces liqueur wine, Blanche Armagnac AOC, Bas-Armagnac AOC as well as fruit and flower liqueurs. The grape variety consists mainly of Folle-Blanche.
