La Route de l'Armagnac – N°13

Set off to discover Armagnac, its territory, but also its production and its flavors! A stroll through the vineyards and the undergrowth!
Three stages are necessary: vinification, distillation and aging in oak barrels; which requires a lot of time, know-how and a great love of the vine! Made from the marriage of grape juice and Armagnac, floc de gascogne constitutes the most beautiful flagship of a natural aperitif.

Through the vineyards and the undergrowth, once you arrive in the Landes, you will enjoy taking a break at the cyclists' chapel, near Labastide-d'Armagnac.

After a quick return to the Gers department, the circuit reaches Cazaubon, with, very close by, the spa resort of Barbotan-les-Thermes, with its very beautiful lotus flowers, emblem of the site.

Returning to Nogaro, a town renowned for its car races on the famous Paul Armagnac circuit, don't leave without stopping at the very beautiful Saint-Austinde collegiate church, an 11th century Romanesque church built in honor of Saint-Nicolas!
