Description

N°1) The circuit begins in front of Saint Luperc Cathedral in flamboyant Gothic style, built by Prior Jean Marre. Take rue Robert Daury (former mayor), go down the street and arrive at boulevard Charles De Gaulle, take the street opposite, avenue des Pyrénées.

N°2) Continue to the Imperial Water Tower (N°2) on the left, slightly set back from the road. The first modern water tower, it was built in France under the Second Empire, in 1870 by Henri de Sardac. Turn left to take Rue Beausoleil. You will then begin a descent (follow the wooden barriers lined with prunus) to find yourself in the avenue of flowers, opposite the Beausoleil nursery school.

N°3) Cross the car park towards the gym and take the small white path on the right to go down to the Félix Soulès school group (N°3).

N°4) Pass in front of the school and reach Ampuero Avenue in front of the Nimeno II bullring. Walk alongside the arenas, turn right along a small grassy path and emerge onto a small tarmac road. Take this road on the right, pass in front of a building and immediately left along the storm basin (fire water reserve), you come out on the RD 626 which you take on the right and the first on the left: rue de Comrade at the end of which you arrive on Allée Julien Laudet.

N°5) Turn right, pass a building and continue towards the railway bridge. On your left, you will see a very beautiful stone building.

No. 6) Arrive at the Comarade ponds with, set back from the poplars, the old Comarade wash house: pass the wash house and take the small path on the right which overlooks the 2 ponds. Climb the embankment on your left using the blue rope.

N°7) For the most curious, you can go straight (instead of going up the embankment) and take the small stone bridge on the right and you will discover a little further on an old water mill on your left. After this escapade, you will go back to climb the embankment and continue for 50m and skirt the Château de Cieutat. You will discover on your left LA DOMUS DE CIEUTAT which you follow for 100m. Continue on Chemin du Château and arrive at the roundabout, turn left up Avenue de la Ténarèze towards the city center. Go back up rue Saint July to reach Place de la Cathédrale.
