Description

DEPARTURE: place called “Juglaron” (take the D931 then right towards “Pajot”)
1 – departure from a place called Juglaron (wine producer, Floc de Gascogne and Armagnac) park in the cellar parking lot.
Take the road between the vineyards, heading south-east for 150 m.
2 – turn left and follow the tarmac road for 1.2km which leads to Carpoulet (view of the Cazeneuve church), continue your way (you enter the La Hitaire property). Follow the border to the right of the vine. 350 m later, the path turns left. Follow the markings carefully along the vineyard;
3 – Cross a ditch near a poplar plantation and turn immediately right following the edge of the vineyard.
4 – Take the path called “Napoléon” on the left for 1 km (Hitaire pond on your left).
5 – At the transformers, turn left (disregard the “reserve entry prohibited” sign). Pass the dike of a small pond. The trail meanders through a grove (acclimatization of game in this area). Head to the right, the path runs alongside a hazelnut plantation.
6 – Follow the tarmac road on the left. Cross the hamlet of Pajot (sale of organic wines and view of Éauze). Continue straight ahead to Juglaron, the starting point of your hike.
Always walk on the exterior paths in the plantations.
