Description

Departure: Domus de Cieutat car park

1- Head to the left of the D626, enter the dead end, pass under the railway bridge and turn right towards Le Martin. Before the farm, turn right onto the grassy path and follow the path which runs alongside the railway line. Cross the D626.

2- Go right for 15 meters on the D626, then turn left to find the railway line, which you will follow for around 500 meters, then on the left you will cross the railway line and reach a vineyard. Continue along the path, then follow the path on the left which leads to a pond. At the last vineyard furrow, turn right and follow the path outside the vineyard.

3- Before a henhouse and the gatekeeper's house, turn left, then follow the road on the left towards Bascous.

4- After the bridge, turn right to follow the left bank of the Étang de Guerre. At the end of the lake, go up the path on the left, then follow the road on the right for 80 m.

5- Turn left at the sign “Au Bedat”, leave the chapel and the cemetery of Pléou on the left. Follow an avenue of oak trees (due north) which leads to Mounicat.

6- Go down through the meadow, and follow the vineyard to reach the old railway line (Auch-Éauze), very shaded.

7- Cross the stream (bridge), turn left, go down the embankment (be careful of slippery stairs!), go under the bridge and rejoin the easement path. Go right then left, you will go up along a field following the D626.

2- By the outward route, reach the starting point.
