Between clay-limestone and tawny sands, it is today in Gondrin that Elisabeth Prataviera produces delicate wines expressing these lively and aromatic grape varieties, emblems of the conviviality and generosity of the South-West.
A wine heritage passed down over 4 generations to discover and taste!
It is on the Gascon vineyard, in the heart of the Gers valleys, that the adventure of the Prataviera & Jegerlehner family began, more than a century ago.
The beauty of the vineyard which surrounds our plots is due to the famous “Via Podensis” which runs alongside them and which has led pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela for centuries.
The clay-limestone soils filled with marine fossils (including oysters) add a particularity and freshness to the different grape varieties emblematic of Gascony grown on the estate.
Through strong family values, “taking care of your roots” has become the key word of Domaine Haut Marin through Level 3 High Environmental Value certification (water saving and treatment, grassing every other row, …)
