The area is essentially composed of clay-siliceous soils and tawny sands (siliceous-silceous). Most of the plots benefit from a southern exposure favoring the natural development of the grapes for the production of fruity and aromatic wines.
Domaine de Joÿ is located in an oceanic climate bringing rain for the freshness and aromatics of our wines and an influence of the Pyrenees at the end of the season for the maturity of the grapes.
