Day 1: cycling through the Armagnac terroirs

- Autonomy - You arrive in the Gers, in our old Gascon farm from the 19th century completely eco-renovated. This is where you live for the next few days.

In Armagnac, there are three distinct terroirs: Bas-Armagnac, Armagnac Ténarèze and Haut-Armagnac. Each produces spirits different. So start with one bike ride on the Armagnac terroirs, between vineyards and castles. At the end of the day, return to the farm and rest by the fire.

Day 2: learn how to make Armagnac

 - Aith the inhabitant – Rget along with Jerome Delord to immerse yourself in your daily life. We start the day in the vineyard. He explains the first steps of Armagnac. Picnic prepared by Florence with local products, in the heart of the vineyards! In the afternoon, we continue to the cellar. Surrounded by the still and then the Armagnac barrels. The cellar master details the next stages of production. We end with (the best) one tasting with Joëlle who explains the assembly stage to us.

In the evening, Florence organizes a Gascon meal at home!

Day 3: learn to taste Armagnac

- Autonomy - This morning meet with Frederic, cellar master of the widow Goudoulin. It is he who carries out the aging of the eau-de-vie, an essential step in the development of the final product. In particular, it allows it to age and develop its aromas to prepare the final blends.

So, Frédéric shares his tasting know-how of Armagnac: visual examination, first nose, second nose... As a bonus, we taste 8 prestigious vintages including the remarkable 1929 and 1934 !

In the afternoon, nap in the garden or hike in the vineyards.

We advise you to come during the week to share the daily life of our residents.

If you want to come on the weekend, then we advise you to arrive early on Friday or leave late on Monday.

Our Gascon farm is easily accessible by public transport:

  • You arrive at Auch station
  • You take the bus to Vic-Fezensac
  • Patrick comes to pick you up for the last few kilometers

For those by car, it will take you less than 1h30 from Toulouse or 2 hours from Bordeaux.

You share a day with Jérôme to learn how to make Armagnac and half a day with Frédéric to learn how to taste it. Then Florence shares with you her favorite places, her good addresses and the people to meet to explore the Gers region independently.

The budget 💰

From €255 per traveler (for 2 travelers, 3 days and 2 nights). Beyond 2 nights, from €52 per traveler per additional night.

Cancellation conditions ❌

Cancellation conditions for “immersion” stay creators:

Free cancellation up to 30 days before departure. We then offer you a deferral or a credit valid for 12 months.

If you cancel less than 30 days before departure, we will study with the resident the possibility of a postponement.
